I will be in Stavanger for one night after hiking and would like to book a deep tissue massage. I do not have a car while there so will use taxi or public transportation. I will be staying at the Radisson Blu Atlantic and have inquired to their concierge for recommendations but they never return correspondence. In addition I called to speak with someone but they hung up on me. I havent stayed there before but certainly will not stay there again as their customer service is non existent. I do not recommend anyone stay there.
If i didnt have a non refundable reservation I would cancel and look elsewhere. Also can anyone recommend a good place for dinner in that city, I am a first time visitor.
Thanks for your help. I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the Atlantic hotel. Hopefully your actual stay there will be enjoyable and the service will be improved.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with any massage service in town, so I cannot comment on it. Here's the restaurants pinned on google maps, as you can see all restaurants are all within easy walking distances:.
Also recommend a stroll in Old Stavanger if you have not already done so. This area is next to the harbor. It takes you two minutes to walk there from your hotel. Google maps indicate 5 minutes, but that must be walking extremly slowly and stopping every 3 feet. A good place to pick up sandwiches to bring on a picnique I think you have planned a Pulpit Rock hike? Remember that there is absolutely no need to buy bottled water unless you need the bottle to refill with tap water. The tap water has excellent quality in Norway.
