A chance encounter with a beautiful girl and a dubious tryst with love transport the repressed nerd boy into the drug world — something that seems an alarmingly ubiquitous subculture. The story of discovery that follows purports to be the biography of a generation that finds itself off-centre, recognising the futility of the empty values that it was brought up on.
