Weirdly, recommended by Lonely Planet. We got a nice apartment here for a night but any positives were vastly outweighed by the unbelievably rude staff the rudest in a year travelling around Africa and old expat men running about, perving over young prostitutes. The restaurant is ok, if you can get served. Please avoid unless you are an overweight old man looking to pick up an STD.
Beware of this place, although it comes recommended from the Lonely Planet we would certainly not recommend this Foyer. Examples: I asked the staff at the reception if I could use the internet, she said sure no problems. As I had no idea that you had to pay for the internet and even less so that the cost was at least 4 times anywhere else, I refused to pay until the manager would come down.
She refused to call him and proceeded to insult me. I left outraged telling her that if she wanted the money she would have to bring the manager to our room. The staff don't want to speak French yet have the arrogance of 10 Parisians put together and the place seems filled with expats and their prostitutes.
